At Midway UMC, we believe that working with the community is essential to changing lives and following the teachings of Jesus.
Are you looking for a place to lend a helping hand in your community?
This is it. Become the “hands and feet” of Jesus Christ in our community. On the Community Outreach Team, we serve alongside organizations such as schools, fire departments, Spirit of Sharing, etc. We’ve been serving in different ways such as: assembling/distributing backpacks for the drive at Apalachee High School, assembling and/or delivering teacher appreciation gifts, providing food/snacks for students/teachers, representing Midway UMC at a sponsored table for school events, visiting classrooms to read with students, etc.
We have a great time serving together and it’s a wonderful time of fellowship with the community—while making a positive impact and changing lives.
