NexGen Ministry

At Midway, we want to provide a loving and safe environment for kids of all ages to learn about Jesus and have fun. Our NextGen department is a little different from the typical children’s department or youth group. Instead of having traditional, separate groups, we try to get our groups to flow together, building relationships across ages and providing serving opportunities at a younger age.

Nursery

Birth – PreK
Sundays @ 10:00AM

While everyone is welcome to stay as long as they’d like in Sunday worship, we do have a special, full service spot for our tiniest friends. Each week in nursery we learn about 3 things we know to be true: God loves us, God created us, and God has a plan for us. Our time together each week is so special and filled with lots of love, fun, and learning.

Kids

Grow Group, Sundays @ 9:00AM
Kids’ Church, Sundays @ 10:00AM

Every Sunday from 9:00-9:50 am, we have our Kids’ Grow Group. During this time, our kids get the chance to dive deep into the lesson for the week. We learn the details of the story we talk about during Children’s Church and it’s a super fun opportunity for them to discuss things together in a smaller group.

Once dismissed from Big Church, our kids come together in Children’s Church to learn about God’s love for us, eat a yummy snack, and have fun together. Whether we’re playing a silly game or making a craft, we always leave with a smile and look forward to next week together!

Youth

6th-12th Grade
Worship, Sundays @ 10:00AM
Grow Group, 2nd & 4th Sundays @ 11:00AM

We want our students to know they are loved and accepted just as they are as soon as they step into our space. At Grow Group, we learn how to grow in our faith, love God, and love others. . . and we have a lot of fun doing it! There are weekly serving opportunities available as well as lots of fun events, so be sure to keep an eye out for those throughout the year!
