Love One Another… Do This in Remembrance of Me

Maundy Thursday (from the Latin mandatum, meaning “command”) remembers the night Jesus gathered with his friends for the Last Supper. On this evening, he washed their feet and gave them a new commandment: “Love one another as I have loved you” (John 13:34).

We mark this day as a time to reflect on humble service, radical love, and the sacred gift of communion. It invites us to the table—to remember, to receive grace, and to recommit ourselves to loving one another as Christ loves us.
